Don't you wish you lived in Oregon?
So here I am and it is past midnight, and I am still working on images that I shot at a wedding today. It is true. I am a photography nerd. I was so excited to get back home and upload these that I couldn't sleep until I got them online. Keri and Derrick had a great time and were so relaxed but so well organized that I had a blast with them. Their wedding was a lot of fun. For their shots as a couple we just walked behind the church where they were married...look at that green!
p.s. no photoshop on these...except for the last one.

Special Effects
Recently a bride to be asked if I could show her some more traditional posed shots along with some really artsy lighting and color tones. I realized that I need to include some more shots like these, and am currently working on updating my website, with them but until I'm finished with that, here is sneak preview of things to come.
The first picture is no photoshop, the second shows what you can do with an added sky, and some dramatic burning and dodging. The third is probably the style I prefer the most; very dynamic, but not too over the top. Next, I've included a few traditional group shots. I don't have a lot of these on my website, but I take them at every wedding. They are important, but I like to emphasize more of my photo journalistic style. Last are some different color tones. I love the flexibility that shooting digital gives me!

We're Famous! (almost)
As many of you know I am a teaher at Corvallis High School. I have the privilege (some would say nightmare) of teaching three production class, Yearbook, Newspaper and DVD Yearbook.
I've approached this classes with the same vigor and determination that I have my business. I treat the classes like a business and the students like employees. I think my students have really risen to the ocasion this year and produced some great products. The DVD Yearbook class was featured in todays paper so click here to read the article or click here to view a segment that was created by my class. Great job guys!
